Housing building

The façade is not a skin, it is a thickness.

An unprotected south-facing window makes a room uninhabitable for part of the year. The project adds no sunshade in front of the glass: it pulls the room back. The loggia is deep enough for the sun to stop inside it, never on the glass.

From one floor to the next the loggias shift, and the building stops being a stack and becomes a relief. None looks straight into its neighbour's.
